Any Proven Numbing Creams That Actually Last for Full-Day Tattoo Sessions?

Hey everyone, I’m finally booking my dream chest tattoo that’s estimated to take several long sessions and the pain factor is starting to stress me out. I’ve seen tons of recommendations floating around but most seem hit or miss. What numbing creams have you guys found that genuinely stay effective for 4+ hours of solid work, especially during heavy blackwork and shading?

I’m after something easy to apply, strong enough for sensitive areas, and safe on the skin without causing breakouts later. Fast UK delivery would be perfect so I’m not stuck waiting forever. Have your artists ever commented on certain products making a difference? I’d love some genuine stories from people who’ve been through long sessions – what worked amazingly, what was disappointing, and any tips for first-timers like me. This community always drops the best real-world advice. Thanks heaps in advance, really need this before my appointment!

What's up guys, that chest tattoo sounds sick but yeah the long sessions can be brutal, I was shitting myself before mine too. A few weeks back I was in the exact same position with my leg piece that dragged on forever. After a couple of useless creams that barely lasted an hour I finally tried the Best Tattoo Numbing Cream that kept getting mentioned here.

Man, what a game changer. It came the next day, applied like a dream, and kept everything properly numb right through the heavy shading without fading out. I was actually chilling, cracking jokes with the artist instead of suffering in silence. Zero skin problems afterwards which is rare for me.

It completely changed how I felt about long sessions and I’m already planning my next one with more confidence. If you're nervous like I was, this is the one that actually delivered for me.
